  • Document forensics API

Edited bank statements and invoices pass a visual check. ProofMart is a document-forensics API: upload a PDF and get back a structured report of findings — each pinned to its place on the page, each with the arithmetic that proves it.

ProofMart report: annotated bank statement with verification ticks

Check the document’s own math.

Instead of guessing at pixels, ProofMart checks the document’s own math — running balances, cross-page carry-forwards, duplicate transactions — so every flag is explainable. Tesseract OCR covers scanned pages; Next.js route handlers expose it all as an API.

Built like infrastructure.

About 9,200 lines of TypeScript, covered by 15 Vitest suites and 4 Playwright end-to-end specs. Reports are signed with Ed25519; webhooks are HMAC-verified.
